Recently, a devout vegan (read: terrible human) attempted to get a vanity plate with those letters on it. The super-smart Colorado DMV rejected the application because of the possible interpretation of what the letters could mean. In case you’re keeping track, that puts the score at 1-0, with the unvegans in the lead.
