we call it: Beef roti(if meat)
chicken roti(chicken)
Malu roti(fish<my favorite)
elawalu roti(vegetable roti)

if u find a SL restaurant in USA ask those guys in these names…..
and u should try kottu….its godamba(flat bread) or string hoppers(noodle like thing) chopped in to pieces and chopped on a heated metal sheet (with two metal sheets) with meats(or seafood) ,little bit of finely grated vegetable(carrots,leaks),sauces,eggs,onions,chili pastes and cheese (pure sri lankan food)…..u should try,the best SL food….goes well with coke ,ginger beer or sri lankan iced milo..like pad thai but much better……u'll find it in most SL restaurants in USA…

^this is a basic kottu,on streets thay make it with a huge metal sound(u can dance for it) and much spicier and use cheese too.

did u check on arrack,the highly alcoholic drink from sri lanka?
Anyway,sri lankan foods have no direct influence with indian food….indian foods sucks!!
