It’s just a huge avoidance of a painful truth on the side of the author. “I eat this food because I like the taste, and I don’t care who it affects.” Great way to live. Great way to destroy the world and all the living things in it.

No intelligent person would create a website about celebrating carnism lmao. News flash, carnism is out of style. You know, in the same way that being a nazi or a slave owner is out of style.

Any human can be vegan but in your case a visit to a vegan nutritionist/dietitian and a little help from other vegans that you unfortunately didn’t appear to have gotten is part of making it work for you. Come back soon. 🙂

I went vegan for two years and was in the worst health of my life. I exercise regularly and play recreational sports. Going vegan caused me to lose an unacceptable amount of weight and experience crippling digestive issues. Turns out I am unable to process grains or legumes effectively enough to handle a vegan diet. People generally should eat less meat of course, but going vegan is not for everyone.

Nothing wrong apart from B12 (which you used to be able to get from the ground but you can’t any more!) – so a simple supplement and you have a very healthy lifestyle.

I thought it wasn’t for me – but after watching some documentaries I have now made the transition to Veganism… I still have the odd cravings – and when I see a McDonald’s advert my mouth waters for those burgers – but it’s just an old habit – I couldn’t bring myself to buy another one ever.

Cowspiracy is a great documentary and really says it all.

My friends have said “What difference will it make if I go Vegan?” – Well if everyone thought like that there would never be a change – but I’m not judgmental or superior – if they ask, I tell them – it’s personal choice!!!

To see a calf dragged from it’s mother seconds after it is born, and the cow is so obviously distressed at not being able to nurture her young is simply inhumane – and I haven’t eaten beef since seeing this.

Final fact – the human race are the only species on Earth whose extinction would actually BENEFIT our planet!!! Scary fact – and makes you think!

I’m going to watch Earthlings – thanks for the tip Ralph. Matt

Not sure why people don’t use their real names but s/he nails it. With what we know now there is just no argument. We kill the animals and they kill us: cancers, heart disease, diabetes on and on. Rainforests mowed down at an acre every second mostly to grow food for animals to then be eaten, millions starving to death while massive grain stocks are fed to animals, inconceivable pollution cause by animal agriculture, mind numbing cruelty to innocent animals.

Do your homework and take down this pointless and harmful site. You are just creating excuses for people to latch onto to put off realising your and their compassion. You are – perhaps unwittingly – helping to perpetuate the assembly line carnage and unnecessary abuse of animals. Regards, Ralph Graham

At least he’s trying! Hypocritical or not. That money is definitely going to help and we need as many high profile people as possible to help with such things otherwise it’s much harder for tiny groups of people like us to get our word out. We shouldn’t constantly be judging people by their life styles. Nobody’s perfect, but if everyone does their bit it all helps. #donthateappreciate

Studies have proven so far they react to a stimuli but that is a reaction not an emotion.

To leave you with one last unsettling thought for why you may be against Veganism. Everytime a cow is killed and eventually made into Steak for you to eat *which is full of carcinogens, bacteria, harmful chemicals to the body, proteins that don’t break down half as well as you are meant to believe*, you are killing far more plants than any one Vegan could kill.

The argument isn’t based on “inconsistencies” and “what ifs” for Vegan’s it’s solely based on “What is” and “Truth”

Everyone who chooses to become Vegan chooses to take the path of far less cruelty where as the opposite is true for Carnists. If you choose to indulge in cow flesh*steak* than you are succinct in supporting the path full of animal cruelty, be it “humane slaughter” (Oxymoron) or “Free Range-Grass Fed”

No matter what you think, it’s hurting the planet, these animals don’t deserve any of this suffering by wilful action of humanity and it’s not healthy for the body overall.

Food for thought, literally.

When you want to take on why people are trying to be more compassionate, talking about plants being alive vs running a bolt through a cows head seems rather silly, don’t you think so?

You all realize that plants are alive too, right?
