I’ve been researching GMOs and am actually in the process of moving to Vermont. While the fact that they are trying to label GMO foods as such excites me, it also doesn’t surprise me that Monsanto is trying like hell to block it.

Sounds like there afraid to give people the right to Choose!!

Yet, so are foods containing peanut products and companies still have to label them as such. ”

This is because upon testing peanuts can actually be shown to be a public health issue, where as with GMO the same can not be said.
Gmo labeling is no more than a unscientific attempt to create fear and distrust akin to the warning sticker put in biology text books by creationists.
