Oh yeah the 5 guys manager tried to claim rare hamburgers can cause food borne illness, But they lat patrons exit the restrooms and rummage in the bulk peanuts….. and I didn’t notice a bathroom police forcing everyone to wash their hands…..

I tried 5 Guys and after trying to place an order decided to not eat. I asked for Rare & they said no, so I asked for Medium Rare & they stated all our hamburgers are cooked well done & juicy. I have been eating hamburgers for many years & let me tell you there ain’t no such thing as Well Done and Juicy, at least not juicy with “meat juice” And wherever this happens the claim Health Department regulations. Wonder why one place I go doesn’t blink an eye at Rare and serves it?

If you fly to Washington DC from LAX, make sure to take Virgin America to Dulles airport. The VA terminal at Dulles has a Five Guys in it, so you can grab it for the plane or while you’re waiting for the flight. I was also pleasantly surprised when I discovered the double hamburger. I just thought it was huge because I asked for so many toppings.

At Five Guys, a regular is a double – he probably asked if you wanted a double to make sure you weren’t an unsuspecting consumer attempting to get the single (“little”) burger.
