Unfortunately I’ve only found taro in the rare Asian market in US and still haven’t figured out a good way to cook it myself. Even restaurants don’t always seem to get it right, so it must be pretty tough to bring the right flavor out. If you haven’t yet, you should find a place to get bubble tea with taro in it, it’s one of my favorites.
