I took them for granted in Michigan. I really thought they were a staple of Fall EVERYWHERE.

You can buy “cider donuts” at grocery stores around here in the Fall. They’re usually kind of appley flavored; that’s weird, but still good. Definitely not the same as those delicious Franklin greaseballs.

I think you’re right about the water wheel, although the website is kind of vague on the subject. Also, do they have cider mills in Conn.? They don’t seem to even know what cider is in LA.
