The link to the market goes to a page in German (?) I believe. Is that the right link and if so why is it in all German from Culver City?

You likely got some that had been frozen don’t judge them until you have some that are fresh.

I grew up in south Louisiana. It’s a shame that you obviously didn’t have frog legs that were quality. It should be easier to chew than chicken and have the sweetness of shrimp. Try them fried some time.

Hmm I’m not sure who I offended, all I’m saying is that if salamander were available, I would be much more inclined to eat it having already tried frog. I have had alligator before, but in 21st century Los Angeles, so perhaps not the best place to eat it?

Don’t insult peoples cooking. Frogs are pretty great if you’re not in 21st century America.

Besides – alligator is best! Tail meat, fried catfish style. But much better than catfish!
