A lot of men (and women) are pretty obsessive about Angelina Jolie and before I go any further I would like to say I just don’t get it. Sure, she’s good looking and a great actress, but I’d take Jennifer Aniston any day. Not that I would ever get the option, but you know what I mean. Nonetheless, she has certainly grabbed my attention recently.

And no, not because of “Salt.” Seriously, did anyone see that movie? In fact, it is a different food group (trying to lower my sodium intake) that has brought Jolie to my attention: meat. That’s right, Jolie has officially given up the vegan diet. And she didn’t abandon it quietly, saying, “…I love red meat. I was a vegan for a long time, and it nearly killed me. I found I was not getting enough nutrition…”

Those are some pretty anti-vegan sentiments, but I have to agree on all accounts. Meat is awesome and vegetables are murderous. It’s science.

So for raiding tombs and tossing veganism aside, Angelina Jolie, you are a true Unvegan Hero!
