Ted Nugent: Unvegan Hero

Well, it was really only a matter of time before Ted Nugent got the spotlight on People for the Ethical Eatment of Animals.  We all know he is a great rock star and outdoorist (read:  hunter), but in a recent episode of Penn & Teller:  Bullshit, he really goes off on animal rights “extremists” like PETA.  He declares, “Meat is food.  Case closed.”

He also gets a little personal on the subject, saying that the lives of his children have been threatened because of the lifestyle they live as meat eaters.  Amazing that these extremists care more for the animals than for their fellow humans.

Not much more really needs to be said.  Ted Nugent just loves his meat.

For bringing us great songs like “Cat Scratch Fever” and loving meat for its nourishing qualities, Ted Nugent, you are a true Unvegan Hero!

“In a 1992 radio interview, Nugent referred to Heidi Prescott of the Fund for Animals as a “worthless whore” and a “shallow slut,” asking “who needs to club a seal, when you can club Heidi?” and was ordered by a court to pay $75,000.[26]“

Although I arrived alone, I was not the only lone eater. Just next to where I was seated, I met e*star LA and we decided to share a meal called loneliness, because it’s better than eating alone. We made quick friends over our respective blogs and Midwestern roots, then got to work at dissecting the special menu, which Plan Check will be featuring for the next month if anything tickles your fancy.
