As a man spoiled by Buffalo Wild Wings, it is often difficult to try out new wing places. But going to a place where 50% of the name is Wings and the other 50% is Hoagies seems like a recipe for success. So even if Hoagies and Wings isn’t the most creatively named restaurant, it certainly makes clear what you will be offered. Bacon Flavoring Promotes Dental Care

It’s time to welcome two additions to the world of products made possible by bacon. No, these aren’t bacon-wrapped dates (which are delicious by the way) or even a 
Bacon Floss and Bacon Toothpicks are now the two greatest ways to save teeth. Once upon a time, people feared eating steaks and popcorn because of the little bits that would get stuck in their teeth. These days are no more, thanks two these new products. Now I fully expect people to order foods specifically to get them stuck in their teeth, just so they can whip out some bacon toothpicks and add that extra touch of bacon-ey goodness to the end of their meal.

Going Global at Plan Check
A couple of weeks ago, The Backyard Bite invited me to The Burger Culture Clash, sponsored by Stussy (which apparently still exists) and Plan Check. Plan Check, by the way, is a sort of new (since February) restaurant in West LA with Chef Ernesto Uchimura of Umami Burger fame. As my love of burgers, especially those of the umami variety, I jumped at the opportunity.
Although I arrived alone, I was not the only lone eater. Just next to where I was seated, I met e*star LA and we decided to share a meal called loneliness, because it’s better than eating alone. We made quick friends over our respective blogs and Midwestern roots, then got to work at dissecting the special menu, which Plan Check will be featuring for the next month if anything tickles your fancy.
