Just outside of Allentown, Pennsylvania is a minor league baseball team called the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Of course, being named after an animal that is seemingly delicious and good for blood-flow does not make a team Unvegan Heroes, but what they have done with that name surely does.
Just recently they revealed a new set of uniforms that move away from the iron and more towards the delicious of their name. Yes, I mean bacon. As you can see by the hat, there is nothing prettier than a strip of bacon on an official hat, and they have even gone so far as to use an extra-long strip of bacon as the stripe on their pants.
While this may not be their regular uniform, it can be found at Saturday home games and will hopefully keep the vegetarians away.
So, for embracing the bacon, Lehigh Valley IronPigs, you are true Unvegan Heroes!
