How could you kill a thing like this?

It’s happened before, and once again the vegans have used their love of vegetables to kill a baby. Last time, it was the French, but now the vegans have brought baby killing into America. Now, the baby-killing may have occurred in 2004, but just last week the killers were convicted of their heinous crime.

But how did they commit the crime? By feeding the baby a diet of nothing more than soy milk and apple juice. What do you think happens to a baby subsisting on such foods? I’ll give you a second to guess…

If you guessed bronchopneumonia, emaciation, starvation and death after six weeks of life, you win!

So what will it take to teach these crazy vegans how to feed their babies? The parents will serve life in prison, which will prevent them from killing any more babies, but I don’t know if that is enough. Maybe the Georgia Supreme Court should invoke the Code of Hammurabi and force an eye for an eye upon these people. Food them only soy milk and apple juice and see if they can last longer than six weeks.

Now do yourself a favor and send this on to all the vegans you know to ensure they they don’t repeat the mistakes of their imprisoned brethren. Only you can help save babies from vicious baby-hating vegans.

Because vegan food doesn’t look good enough.

It’s a vegan-eat-vegan world out there today (although not literally, because that would be decidedly unvegan) and if you’re one of those meat haters, it’s getting harder and harder to know who to trust. The latest schism comes from an expose at quarrygirl.com. In this expose, it is revealed that VegNews, “the nation’s leading vegan magazine” has been using images with meat in them. That’s right, delicious succulent meat has successfully infiltrated the pages of VegNews, making it unvegan!

I can just picture the vegans now: “Why does my veggie burger look like poo instead of how it looks in VegNews?” or “Why does my stew appear to be malnourishing, rather than that incredibly nourishing-looking stew in my favorite magazine?” Finally, the answer to why all those recipes look like a disaster has been revealed.

So what can VegNews do now? Clearly they can’t keep mining the stock images they have been using, but can they afford to pay more for vegan images? Thanks to quarrygirl.com, VegNews has already lost a lot of subscribers and could stand to do more. Isn’t it great when vegans quabble? There’s nothing like a vegan blog that puts vegan magazine workers out of work. It’s something I would expect in the greater media world, but surprising coming from vegans that seem to just want to hold hands, sing kumbaya and grill zucchinis together.

In my opinion, they should just jump in all the way and start showing more blatantly meaty images. Maybe seeing what they are missing out on will help the vegans move back over to the good side. At least on the unvegan side we all get along in our meaty glory.

Don’t worry baby, I won’t let the vegans get to you.

No, this isn’t a dead baby joke. If it were, the title might say something like, “What’s the difference between a truck full of bowling balls and a truck full of dead babies?” (You can’t unload the bowling balls with a pitch fork) Sadly, this is no such joke and perfectly good baby child has perished at the hands of unfit vegan parents.

As the Guardian reports, these French vegans decided to only feed their baby with breast milk for the first 11 months of its life. Unfortunately, these were also the only 11 months of that baby’s life, because drinking vegan breast milk resulted in a woefully malnourished baby.

When the parents finally realized something was wrong, they called an ambulance, but it was too late. By the time the ambulance arrived, the baby had already passed on. Lacking in vitamins A and B12 (both of which come from animal products), the baby was susceptible to disease and although the ultimate cause of death was pneumonia, the sad situation never would have occurred if the baby had a proper diet.

The parents could face up to 30 years in prison for “neglect or food deprivation followed by death.” That’s no small sentence, but I can think of a better punishment for them. How about forcing them to eat nothing but those malnourishing vegan foods they seem to love so much and see how long they last? I’d rather spend 30 years in prison than live like that.

Tastes like doped meat.

There is no question that meat is performance enhancing. The protein helps build muscles, the iron helps the blood flow and the vitamins of the B variety just generally keep the body functioning. Try getting all that from a vegan salad. But even though meat clearly enhances performance, there is only one man who has claimed it as a drug: Alberto Contador.

Just who is Alberto Contador? Well, for those who pay attention to vestigial (vestigial because with the constant doping allegations, it really is as useless as the appendix) sports like cycling, he is a three-time Tour de France winner. But, as with pretty much every winner of that competition, he has been accused of doping. These cyclists always seem to come up with funky excuses, but Contador’s is certainly my least favorite. He blamed it on some bad steak, and clearly he is not even taking his vitamins right, he should click here and look into the fish oil rankings and see how supplements containing omega 3 are increasing concentrations of NO and boosting blood flow; therefore, it is helping cyclists increase their performance. Clearly, if he would know this there would be no room for excuses.

Really? As if meat doesn’t get enough bad press already, Contador had to go and accuse steak of doping him? The least he could do is blame it on a bottle of whiskey or a rusty needle. Or even fess up to breaking cycling rules. But instead he chose to blame sweet, delicious and harmless steak. Sounds to me like he is a dope who eats meat, rather than a man who was doped by meat. Don’t worry, Contador, because long after your cycling awards have been stripped, steak will still be kicking back and enhancing performance the right way.

Is this the future unvegan?

As if we don’t have enough to worry about with global warming. What with the crazy 110 degree weather I’m experiencing in the hellish valley or dwindling glaciers, now we have to worry about shrinkage. Now, not that kind of shrinkage. That kind comes with the cold. No, the shrinkage I write of affects all unvegans, whether man, woman or beast.

According to a new University of Florida study, global warming makes carnivores shrink. The study involved a “…hyena-like animal…[which] evolved from the size of a bear to the size of a coyote during a 200,000-year period when Earth’s average temperature increased about 15 degrees Fahrenheit.” Fortunately, I don’t have to worry about lasting that long, but it will be a sad future if my unvegan descendants evolve into pygmy unvegans. For that reason alone, it’s time to put a stop to global warming.

Baconize me

Just when you thought it was safe to be an unvegan in this world, the Harvard School of Public Health had to go and link processed meats to heart disease and diabetes. Never fear, though, because there’s a big kid on the block ready to defend meat to the death, the American Meat Institute.

The AMI jumped onto my radar a few weeks ago when I saw some of their mouth-watering videos of meatiness on the interwebs. And now they are on my radar even more. Before I get into berating the Harvard study, I want to first focus on the fact that they found no link between unprocessed meat and those nasty diseases. I’m not surprised, but for you skeptics out there, time to scarf down some good old fashioned meats.

Now in terms of processed meats, the AMI was quick to say that the study isn’t telling people to give up processed meats. Bacon, salami and other meats of that sort can be a very valuable part of a diet and it seems like the real issue here isn’t the meat itself, but the salt. So it doesn’t seem like a diet high in salty vegetables is any better. So thank you, AMI, for putting yourselves into the game, and to learn more about delicious meat, check out the video below.

Oil. Let’s be honest…if you don’t work for an oil company, you probably don’t like it. You deal with fluctuating oil prices and the constant threat that it will run out and the whole planet will be screwed. Plus, every once in a while you get an oil spill, and that is no good for anyone, unless you are in PETA.

Because if you are a member of PETA, you don’t see an oil spill as a tragedy that could have been avoided. No, you see it as an opportunity for more publicity. So just a couple days after oil started leaking over the Gulf of Mexico, PETA blamed the tragedy on people who eat meat. Never mind the fact that oil is used in every facet of the agriculture they are dependent upon or is essential for plastics and other useful parts of everyday life. No, it was all the fault of the meat eaters. It almost makes you wonder if PETA cause the accident themselves for the publicity. Wait, that’s crazy…or is it?!

I’m all about reducing dependence on oil and getting away from offshore drilling. I think most logical people in the world would agree that we can’t keep killing our environment like this, but certainly it is not the fault of meat eaters. Any good unvegan would rather eat a seagull than a vegetable, but seagulls covered in oil are no good for anyone.

Yummy myth.

We live in a world full of myth. Some of these myths are awesome, like Greek myths. But some myths just plain suck. Like myths about meat. They are rampant and they turn know-nothing vegans into high and mighty zealots. Well, it’s time to kiss those myths goodbye, because I have uncovered a handy little article that should quiet them down.

It’s called Myths of Vegetarianism and it is fantastic. The writer, Dr. Stephen Byrnes goes through the myths one by one. In doing so, he debunks the myth that somehow vegans are able to get vitamin B12 without getting some animal in them. Unfortunately, B12 doesn’t exist in plants. He then goes on to disprove more harmful myths like the one where people think that meats cause disease. Once again, the myth is proven as just a myth. I could go on and on, but luckily Dr. Byrnes has taken care of that for me in his article. Using fact rather than myth, this nifty little article of his is well worth a read. And it might just make you a better person.

Old, but still true.

So here’s the deal. Every time anyone outside of PETA does anything to harm an animal, they risk the wrath of PETA. Notice I said anyone “outside,” because apparently harming animals from inside PETA is no problem. I knew they were hypocritical because one of their head honchos uses insulin from pigs, but AOL News reports that the hypocrisy much bigger than that.

According to their findings, 97% of the animals brought to PETA headquarters are euthanized. 97%! Are you kidding me? This adds up to 2,301 dogs and cats. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure that is a lot more animals than are killed to go on my plate every year. One of PETA’s supposed goals is the total liberation of animals. I didn’t realize that meant liberating them from life.

And one more thing, at least the animals killed for my food become food. The animals PETA euthanizes end up doing no good at all.

Vegetarian of the future!
Vegetarian of the future!

And in unrelated news: water is wet, winter is cold and the sky is blue. Of course vegetarians have smaller brains, how else to explain their insane diet? According to an article on Signs of the Times, written by Unvegan Hero Barry Groves, so much of brain size is determined by fat intake. As he says, “About half our brain and nervous system is composed of complicated, long-chain, fatty acids.” Plants don’t have these fatty acids and our bodies aren’t exactly capable of making them ourselves. But you know what are capable of producing these fatty acids? Dumb herbivores.

They are the key to our brain size. By eating them, we not only incorporate their souls into our bodies, we also get their fatty acids. Mmm fatty souls.

This explains why we have such bigger brains than our primate cousins. They don’t eat meat. Are vegetarians attempting some sort of reverse evolution (devolution?) to become more ape-like? I like to think that we have become something better than lesser apes and prefer to keep it this way. If it weren’t for eating meat, we might still be swinging from trees and slinging our poop at each other. That sounds like fun on occasion, but as a way of life, I prefer living the unvegan way, with a big, fatty brain.
