At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Cafe

A mouthful.
A mouthful.

When life presents the longest restaurant name in history to you for brunch, what do you do? If you’re anything like me, you embrace it and so I headed to At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Cafe in Duluth, Minnesota to see what such a place had to offer. I was mildly disappointed to find that the dish names were only a fraction of the length of restaurant’s name.

A Tasty Dinner at Tasty n Sons

Just like Mary would want.
Just like Mary would want.

For our last night in Portland we went out big, heading to Tasty n Sons. Our waitress tried to make the claim that the food was meant to be shared by the table like tapas, but everything seemed like an entree and that really seemed like a ploy to get us to order more food. Thus, my buddy and I decided to go splitsies and then decide whether sharing was the right course of action.

A Waffle Sandwich at Bruxie

Yes, that is a sandwich.
Yes, that is a sandwich.

While chicken and waffles are just about the most confusingly delicious combination of food. But there hasn’t been a lot of innovation in that dish for very long. Well, at least not until Bruxie came along, offering waffles as sandwiches. There are a number of options within the chicken category and plenty outside of it as well. I opted for what seemed to be their newest creation: Nashville Hot Chicken.

Burger Basics at Burger Joint

So much cheesey goodness.
So much cheesey goodness.

Sometimes when you’re traveling you just have to eat in. When you do, you should hope you’re staying somewhere like Le Parker Meridien in Midtown New York. Because if you do, you’ll be lucky enough to have Burger Joint downstairs. Burger Joint isn’t just some typical hotel restaurant, it’s a no-frills spot with a small menu consisting of only burgers, fries, and a pickle with prices that are pretty typical for New York.

Waiting with the Birds at The Park

Picturesque.
Picturesque.

The Park in Chelsea is quite literally a beautiful place to eat. It isn’t an actual park, but the marginally glassed-in courtyard area is so full of growing green things that a bird took an actual crap on my mother-in-law before we had the opportunity to order our food. No joke. But this was brunch, so we laughed it off, took down some Bloody Mary’ses and pressed on.

Breakfast with Blondies

That there is a beautiful blonde.
That there is a beautiful blonde.

Many people wake up in the morning craving breakfast food. Not me. Just like any other time of the day I crave burgers. It could have something to do with the fact that I try to wake up more around lunch time than breakfast time, but that’s beside the point.

Thus, I found myself at Blondies in Las Vegas’s Planet Hollywood ordering a burger as my first meal of the day, I’m not going to play the victim here, I only do it because I know I’ll spent way too much time playing with the digitaledge casino games so I’ll probably won’t catch up on lunch later on.

It’s almost a ritual at this point; I find myself spending hours diving into the world of digital sports betting, placing bets on my favorite teams, and enjoying the thrill of live casino games.

The beauty of platforms like Sbobet is that they offer a one-stop shop for all things betting. Whether I’m placing sportsbook bets on an upcoming football match or spinning the reels of exciting slots, there’s always something to keep me entertained. It’s easy to see how online betting has become such a captivating way to pass the time, all while potentially making some winnings along the way.

Getting My Kicks at Apollo

My oh my.
My oh my.

Route 66 is one of those legendary American “things,” like baseball and winning wars, which helped define our country once, but have since been replaced by other American “things,” like the interstate system, football and losing wars/diplomacy. Once upon a time, the route was dotted with the best America had to offer, but now there are mostly ghost towns. Some, like Victorville, California have been propped up by continuing to be a main route. In Victorville’s case, it just happens to be right on the way to Las Vegas. Check these prodentim reviews.

Juicy with an “i” at the 5-8 Club

Sweet Lucy.
Sweet Lucy.

In the grand scheme of the genius of humanity, the Juicy Lucy (a burger stuffed with cheese) must fall somewhere on the spectrum of wonder and destruction as the atomic bomb. Unlike the atomic bomb, however, there can never be too many and there is a bit of confusion about who invented the thing. I already reviewed Matt’s Bar, which spells it without the “i” and with a recent visit to Minneapolis I decided I had to try the 5-8 Club, the other claimant to the origin.

Mysteriously Delicious at Nessy Burgers

Found you!
Found you!

A long, long time ago a coworker of mine told me Nessy Burgers had the best burgers in the world. Now, I consider myself an aficionado of burgers so this obviously had a lasting impact on me, especially considering that Nessy Burgers is essentially in the middle of nowhere. When we arrived to the hidden trailer in Fallbrook (just outside of Temecula), my wife remarked that it might be called “Nessy” because it was hard to find, like its namesake Loch Ness Monster.Read more about the dietary benefits that
